| Parish Committee As governing body of the church, is the executive committee, has charge of property, conducts all business affairs, including the hiring of staff. Fills vacancies, prepares budgets, oversees canvass and sees that the books are audited. Members act as liaison to the other church committees acting as resources and enabling communication. |

| Buildings and Grounds Committee Responsible for the maintenance of three church buildings: church, Davis Memorial and parsonage. |
Canvass Committee and Pledge Drive, 2007 Coordinates the annual every member and friend pledge drive so that the Church can provide programs that serve the membership. |
Finance Committee In cooperation with Treasurer, responsible for the management of church funds, for annual canvass, preparing a budget with the Parish Committee. |

| Flower Committee Provides flowers for Sunday services and helps with decorating the Church for Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter. |
House Committee Housekeeping: if it can be washed, cleaned, mended, ironed or glued it is our responsibility. We try to keep track of church property. Sign up sheet outside kitchen. |
Interfaith Committee Represented by members of the three churches. Four inter-faith services (Thanksgiving, Christian Brotherhood, Easter Sunrise and Memorial Day). Meetings are held to prepare for these events. Collects and delivers non-perishable goods to Athol-Orange Inn homeless shelter. |

| Membership Committee Major task is to make church inviting to all members, friends and newcomers, identifying potential new members and assisting them in the membership, creating and updating a directory which lists all members and friends. Also provides greeters and a Coffee Connection which is responsible for coffee hours. |
Music Committee Works with the Organist and Choir Director to provide music for Sunday Worship services and other events. |
Nominating Committee Works year-round to provide leadership working cooperatively with committees to fill their needs with people who have the skills and commitment and encouraging every member to work on a committee and share in the work of the Parish. |

| Program Committee Provides programs twice a month on Sunday mornings. UU Purposes and Principles suggest a wide range of topics that UU’s might find relevant to spiritual and ethical living. Seeks feedback and ideas from congregation. |
Religious Education Committee Responsible for working with and supporting the Director of Religious Education in the education of the children of the church. |
Social Action Committee Puts UU Purpose and Principles into action, local, national and international issues. |

| Directory Team. The Directory Task Force is responsible for maintaining, updating, and publishing an annual church directory containing members, friends, and Alliance members. These files are now converted to electronic format. |

"Teams." They are fluid in nature; meaning they are not a fixed group
of
members. Anyone who has time to volunteer any
